New technological and commercial competitions, discussions, demos and knowledge practical applications: Tecno Fidta not only exhibits the latest technologies related to food processing but it also opens the space for updating professionals that work in the industry everyday.
On one side, the Value Added, Quality and TICS for Food Conference will be carried out once again. Organized by Red Alimentaria, it will take place on September, Thursday 20 at 9 a.m. in the main Auditorium. There, several subjects will be covered such as, food irradiation; added value to non-traditional meat products; the use of the QR code for food information to the consumer; differentiation tools; food loss and waste; intervention strategies for STEC control; among others. Among the lecturers, there are specialists from the Agriculture Department, INTA, INTI Agroalimentos, CAME, UNNE (Universidad Nacional del Noroeste), and ALATI (Latin American Association of Irradiation Technologies).

The proposal of the Argentine Association of Food Technologists (AATA) also summons outstanding specialists and referents of the sector. Its president, Dr. Susana Socolovsky –who is a renowned international technical consultant in food technological innovation and food regulations- will lecture on the regulation framework and processed food front labeling. Other subjects that will be covered are fraud prevention in food industry and food defense; low sodium dry sausages; environmental management in meet processing industry and sewage treatment.
The AATA activity will also take place on Thursday, September 20, but as from 5 p.m. Lectures are free of charge and do not require previous registration, though quotas are subject to room capacity. To access the full schedule, see here.
On the other hand, the exhibitors will offer conferences and product demos with the latest advances of the food sector.
Tecno Fidta will be carried out on September 18-21, 2018, in Costa Salguero Center of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The exhibition is only for businessmen and professionals of the sector. With an invitation: free of charge. People under 18 years will not be admitted, even if attending with an adult. Baby strollers are not allowed.
