An advance of what you will see in Tecno Fidta

On September 18-21, a new edition of Tecno Fidta in Costa Salguero Center will bring the latest news in products and services related to food processing. More than 160 firms will receive 10,000 professionals of the industry, generating new links, contacts and business. 

Some of them tell us their plans for these four days of intense activity and the proposals that will surprise visitors. 

From Ecopreneur, for example, it is announced that they are developing environmental solutions that allow generating renewable energy. They are "Biomass Anaerobic Digesters in Wet Phase”, through which several types of substrates such as agricultural waste, animal dung, fats, sludge and its combinations can be processed. “The generated biogas, prior purification, will turn into biomethane that will be able to supply a co-generator to produce electric and thermal power. It can be used in their own effluent plant. The excess of energy that will not be used, can be injected in the electric network”, explains Eduardo Porto, General Manager of the firm. 

Alfa Argentina, on its part, highlights the importance of participating in Tecno Fidta to be near its customers and the market. “In each edition, we offer a work space to share advances and news that are the result of a hard work", states its Commercial Manager, Nicolás Morero. The company will present several pieces of equipment, such as AMTEK machinery, BACKSAVER, ILPRA, Packaging Atlantis-Pak and ADM Functional Proteins. “In spite of the internal market situation, we are constantly investing in growth. In 2017, we opened the new plant in San Francisco, Córdoba. In 2018, the investment involves the incorporation of new machinery, technology and the most important: professionals”, highlights Morero. The company certified its new plant under HACCP standard and it is within Global Markets Programme of GFSI, in order to strengthen its commitment with safety. 

Industrias Tomadoni, meanwhile, has taken part in Tecno Fidta for twenty years. “It is an international fair that allows us to contact active and potential customers”, says Alejandro Umaschi, Director of the firm, and advances that in this occasion will bring machines and equipment to manage and process powder or granulated products. In particular, they will promote their pneumatic transportation systems and its latest advances regarding material packing and palletizing. As to their expectations in terms of the market, Umaschi says: “we are thinking in carrying out new investments and we are expecting new regulations to hire staff, which we undoubtedly need." 

Grupo Prisma will offer equipment to monitor and record variables applicable to all kind of industries. It is a real time platform that allows monitoring sensible variables from anywhere. This year, it will show a new line called SIXCAN TRIO, which allows managing through a tactile screen its sensors readings, accessing to graphics and setting alerts. “It is totally wireless, it connects to wifi, it has an internal memory to store data locally and complies with current standards of the industry", explains Daniel Santamaría, Commercial Manager of the company. “Taking part in such an important exhibition as Tecno Fidta enables us to relate with a key sector of the industry to expand our business and show our services to new customers", adds the executive. 

Another firm with important news is Ulma Packaging, which a few months ago opened a new plant in Spain devoted to thermal sealing activity, after an investment of five million euros. The facility has 5,000 sqm and offers an output of approximately 400 machines a year, with the option of extending the construction in the future thanks to an annex building that has already been bought and that will enable to double the current capacity.
